Quilt Along - Quilt Top is FINISHED!

Greetings everyone!

Happy Monday! I sewed most of the weekend and finished the Bears in the Farmhouse Quilt top. This consisted of putting together the last couple of borders. I liked the way this turned out. Of course, this photo only shows one corner of the quilt but you get the idea, right?

It has been a rough couple of weeks but I did get step 4 completed today.



Anxiously awaiting Step 5 which I believe is the last step.

Quilt Along Step 3

Greetings everyone!

Wow! The weather has been something here. In the 70's yesterday and again today. Sure is a far cry from Monday when we had 6 inches of snow.

Yesterday I opened the windows and finished Step 3 of Judy Laquidara's Quilt Along. Here is one of the twelve blocks. I like it so far.

I am so lucky and loved. My Birthday was simply wonderful because I am blessed with a loving, thoughtful, generous Husband and the best family and friends in the whole world.

It's snowing!

Greetings!

We have several inches of snow already and it just keeps coming down. I'm at work and although the roads are covered it really wasn't too bad of a commute.

I ended up not doing as much sewing as I'd like to have yesterday but did get to make Ham and Bean soup. It was awesome if I do say so myself.

The forecast calls for snow this afternoon into tomorrow. Areas east of here might get a foot of SNOW!!

I'm preparing a crock pot of Ham and Bean soup today. Sounds good doesn't it?
